Day 29: Something I've Been Listening To

I should just take a picture of my iPod (which is an older model and gets mocked regularly) and call it good.  But, Mom and I decided it would be more fun to take a screen shot of our top 25 played songs in iTunes.  Probably, mine would look a lot different if it took into account songs played on either Nick or my iPods or our phones, but this is what iTunes says.

There is really a lot of diversity there.
You don't often see Go Fish hanging out with Madonna, ZZ Top, and Flo Rida.
And that concludes our Photo a Day February challenge!  Hope you enjoyed it!

Day 25: Green

I've been doing a lot of:

Working out...
My constant workout companion.

...Green tea drinking...
mmmmm!

...salad eating...
Spinach and Arugula!

...and cooking healthy things with this...
Ain't it cute?!
...but that number on the scale won't move very much.  What am I doing wrong?!

Day 24: Bathroom Cabinet

I really don't keep a lot in there.  All the drugs live downstairs in the kitchen, and a really lot of stuff lives on my dresser.  This is what's left.  (That's Latte's tail in case you were curious.)

Day 23: Shoes

So, I have huge feet.  I mean, ginormous.  They're wide, they're long.  When I try to shop for cute girl shoes online in my size, I somehow end up in stores obviously meant for transvestites.  (Oh, I hope no one gets to my blog by googling "transvestite shoes." Or maybe I hope they do.  Hello, Trannies!)  Anyhoo...my large feet are genetic.  My sister, my mom, my grandma, my aunt...all big footed.  Mine are actually smaller than my mom's and sister's (take that!), but still big by anyone's standards.

That said, I don't really have a lot of shoes.  I could very easily see myself having a shoe fetish if I had normal sized feet, so it's probably good that I don't.  Instead, I have a purse fetish.  Just ask Nick.

I mean, I have a million flip flops.  My back entryway area in the summer looks like an Old Navy ad (if Old Navy sold only huge flip flops with cat bite marks on them.).  I have a couple of pairs of Payless flats that I wear on dates or to church.  I have a few pairs of high heels that I never wear because they make me too tall (I'm 5'10" ish) and I walk like Frankenstein in them.  I have one pair of super cute tall boots that I've worn a few times, but I can't seem to master the "tuck your pants into your boots" thing, so they don't get worn a whole lot.

Mostly, I wear these:

Old New Balance tennis shoes.

Crocs at work covered with shoe covers.
Don't be jealous.

Day 21: A Favorite Photo of Me

I don't really like pictures of myself as a rule, but this one is awesome!

This one is labeled "June 1987" on the back.

Day 19: Something I Hate to Do

We'll just go with things I've run into today.  You probably don't want to see a pictorial list of my pet peeves.

I hate going to this place to walk 3 laps (1.8 miles) when I've just worked
7pm-7am.

I hate falling in love with an awesome show and subsequently watching all the seasons
in rapid succession thereby catching up with current time and having to wait
a week between episodes.

I hate walking by this sign on every one of the aforementioned laps around the mall.
Those quotation marks are completely unnecessary.
Don't even get me started on your/you're and their/there/they're.
Ugh.
I hate realizing I didn't bring any water to drink after my walk.

Day 18: Drink

A photographic journey of my drinks of the day.  Sorry I'm not more exciting.

My bedside water bottle.  I won't apologize for being a Twilight fan.

Deliciousness

Pomegranate Lemonade

My Lamber's Cafe mug that I drink out of at work.
I spilled an entire mugfull on the floor while leaving the kitchen area at work tonight.
True story.

I don't normally label my coffee cup, but I thought it would look better for the picture.
It was yummy.

Day 17: Time

So...I kind of forgot about this yesterday.  I mean, I remembered in the morning, but then promptly forgot about it the rest of the day.  That's why this picture was taken less than an hour before I went to bed.  It does represent one of my favorite times of day!

The hour (or 2) of the grown up!

Day 16: Something New

A new recipe is in my crock pot right now!  I'm hoping it is delicious!  I tweaked it a little.  I can't leave a recipe alone.  I've learned it's genetic.

Day 15: Phone

Oh, hold on.  I'm on my hamburger phone.

I totally wanted one of these growing up.  Didn't DJ Tanner have one?

Day 14: Heart

I thought I'd do something different today!

We don't really observe Valentine's Day around here, but Happy Valentine's Day, nonetheless!

Day 12: Inside my Closet

Yes, that's a boy scout shirt in the very back.  You know you're jealous.

This closet serves as Nick's dresser, so all the clothes on the shelves are his.
Except those shoes.

Day 11: Things That Make Me Happy

Here's a few of the things I ran into today that made me happy!  Don't feel bad if you're not included.  It probably just means I didn't see you!

The time on the clock when I punched out of work this morning!

Holding hands with my honey on the way to see The Vow.

Nick at The Cellar after The Vow.  Yum!

Really stinking good breadsticks!

7 of my 13 siblings! (Hannah, Jamie, Sam, Daniel, Grace, Mercy and Mary!)

My mommy!

My daddy!  (Laying on his pretty pink bed!)

The horse pills that will hopefully rid my ears of the stuff
that made my doctor say "Gross!" when she looked in there!

Catching up on my DVR!
